- 4cm thick hides a lot of crumbs
- Hand knotted shag comes apart especially when used by cat to sharpen claws
- shag moults more than the cat does so I find balls of chocolate brown fluff in corners of the house
- Cat fur sticks to shag and is rather obvious when the cat has ginger and white fur
- The meticulous craftsmenship also makes for a heavy rug that cannot simply be draped over ones washing line and have the crap beaten out of it be gently whacking it with a wooden spoon or such object so the dust and crumbs fall out.
- And finally my favourite, sultana's play hide and seek with you in the warm depths of her 4cm goodness.
The cherub loves sultanas, although she does not eat them. She lovingly puts them in her mouth, sucks on them before blowing them out of her mouth in full raspberry effect. This is due to the fact that she empties the entire box of sultana's on to the rug first. So each sultana goes into her mouth with a little bit of rug everytime.
I attempted to create a picnic type scenario for her, where I would lay out a table cloth and she could eat on there, nope the little shit wee angel, lifted the corners of the table cloth so she could deposit the sultanas underneath.
Once she has finished with the sultanas she wanders off leaving me to pick them up, that is if I can find them all.
So you have the rug... (note exactly the same as ours but ours is slightly larger)
Mixed with the cherub...
Some good ol' Sultana's
Just as an FYI, I found 22 in all. They are now banned unless she is in her high chair or at someone elses house with a nice thick rug so they can scrounge around on the ground for an hour playgroup.
