Hello Sunshine

I can't get over this heat.  Already its been hitting 35 here, my cooling is in overdrive and I have had a hot and sweaty child fall asleep on me several times.

I'm loving the sunshine though, it makes such a difference to your whole mood when it is out.  I took some photos of a friend and her family on Sunday at the most magnificent kiddies park on Sunday.  As you can see by the below photo, Abbey had a great time with a pole (not worried, not worried!).  We had to leave when it started to get really hot and went back to the friends for a BBQ lunch. And joy of all joys Abbey has got hayfever on top of her eczema flaring due to the heat.  Poor thing looked awful, her eye was all puffy and weeping and her nose was running.  Thankfully it seems to have only been the one day but we have stayed indoors since.  Cabin fever is at an all time high so thank god we have music tomorrow, even if it is only a half hour out of the house.

Abbey is talking non-stop, most of the time we have no idea what she is saying apart from the odd 'shoe' thrown in!  She has great manners and says 'thank you' everytime we give her something.  That in itself is a display of how clever she is as we always said 'Ta'!  However if she does say thank you, you must say 'Good Girl' in return otherwise you get the look of death and she blurts 'goo gul' at you!  Stroppy should have been her middle name!

Alfie, our cat, was found at our old house.  He had gone a bit feral having been missing for almost 5 days but we managed to settle him and he hung around for another week and a half before taking off again.  This time we haven't had any luck finding him at the old house so we have given them our contact details and are just hoping he comes back.

And it is only 27 sleeps until I get to go home for Christmas.  Hurrah!!!

Ha ha, goo gul! We have someone who has to 'bless you' everytime anyone sneezes or coughs.

Yay! Only 27 more days!

I'm glad little Ms Abbey is turning into a little lovely lady. Wonder where she gets that from? Hehehe...
